Shah Rukh Khan in Toxic? KGF Star Yash Breaks Silence On SRK's Cameo in Kannada Film | Watch Video

KGF star Yash has reacted to the claims that Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in Toxic. The Kannada film was announced last year. Yash had revealed the title in December last year. The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas, who has previously helmed Nivin Pauly’s Moothon. While fans are keeping a close eye on the film’s updates, there were also rumours that Shah Rukh Khan could play a cameo in the film.

Yash addressed these reports during a press conference on Wednesday. A reporter asked Yash if Shah Rukh was in talks for Toxic and Yash brushed it off with a simple no. A video of his reaction has gone viral on social media.

Meanwhile, a source told Hindustan Times last month that Yash and Shah Rukh are keen on collaborating but there is no script yet. “There have been conversations around him working with Shah Rukh Khan — and it is an idea which got both of the actors super excited. However, they need the right project to collaborate together as it will come with a lot of expectations, and they don’t want to disappoint their fans. That’s why they want it to be a well-thought move, instead of an impulsive one,” a source said.

The insider also said that Yash is in talks with Red Chillies Entertainment for another project. “He is already in talks for his second film — which is an action project. He is having conversations with Red Chillies Entertainment for the project. At the moment, they have discussed the creative ideas with the actor, who has liked it and wants to see how it turns out to be,” the grapevine claimed. The report also quoted a second source who said that Yash is currently only focusing on the projects he has on his hand.

As for Toxic, Yash seems to be portraying an anti-hero in the film. It is reported that Kareena Kapoor is being considered as the female lead in the movie.
