Sumanth-starrer Telugu Film Aham Reboot Makes Direct World Premiere On OTT

Telugu movie Aham Reboot, written and directed by Prashanth Sagar Atluri, has been making headlines since it was announced. Aham Reboot is a thriller with essentially a single character visible on the screen: the protagonist. Starring Sumanth Akkineni in the lead, the movie has now made its direct debut on a digital streaming platform. It premiered yesterday on the popular OTT platform Aha. The shooting of this movie was completed sometime ago. Due to various reasons, the film was not released in theatres. It has been reported, so the makers have decided to release it directly on OTT. Now it is getting a good deal from OTT.

As per reports, Sumanth Akkineni plays an RJ who is dragged into a crime by an unidentified man, and hell breaks loose. Addressing the film at an event, Prashanth Sagar stated that Aham Reboot has several twists and would appeal to people who enjoy racy thrillers.

Sumanth, who has earlier been seen in most romantic dramas, is playing a different role in this film, and his stylish new look is one of the highlights of the film.

The film is backed jointly by Raghuveer Goriparthi and Srujan Yarabolu. The cinematography is done by Varun Ankarla, and the music by Sriram Madduri.Murali Krishna is the editor. Sumanth seems to be well-suited to his role.

For the uninitiated, Sumanth works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is the eldest grandson of Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He is also a partner at Annapurna Studios.

Sumanth is popularly known for his films, including Prema Katha (1999), Yuvakudu (2000), Satyam (2003), Gowri (2004), Godavari (2006), Madhumasam (2008), Golconda High School (2011), and Malli Raava (2017).

He was earlier seen in the Telugu-language period romantic drama film Sita Ramam. It’s directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Produced by C Aswani Dutt for Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, it stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the key roles, with Rashmika Mandanna and others playing supporting parts. The film emerged as a major commercial success, grossing Rs 91.4 crore at the box office, becoming the ninth highest-grossing Telugu film of 2022.
