Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla has grabbed headlines after he was attacked during a live performance in London. An audience threw a shoe at him and the video has also gone viral on social media. The show was also stopped midway. Well, in the same video, the singer also reacted and was seen furious with this act. He immediately asked the person to come on stage and have a talk.

In the video, shared by a fan, we can see Karan giving the shoe back to the audience and saying, “Hold on! Who was that, I f***ing telling you to come up on the stage, Let’s do one-to-one right now. I am not singing that bad that you hit me with shoes. If any of you have a problem with me, then come directly on the stage and talk… because I am not saying anything wrong.”

Other media portals reported that following the incident security personnel had identified the culprit and apprehended the individual responsible for the shoe attack. The man was promptly escorted out of the venue as Aujla continued his performance.

Karan is expected to sing at two new concerts in Kolkata and Jaipur. Apart from this, the singer will also be performing in his already sold-out shows in cities like Chandigarh, Bengaluru, New Delhi and Mumbai. While his fans have been looking forward to all of his live shows, his upcoming Kolkata concert is extra special as it comes with a meaningful initiative.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Rs 100 from each ticket sold in Kolkata will be donated to women’s welfare initiatives. Discussions are currently underway with a local NGO for the same.

This tour also marks Aujla’s first major arena tour in India, with a mission to introduce modern Punjabi music to global audiences. The tour is breaking ticket sales records in Canada, the UK and New Zealand too. Aujla will perform alongside his frequent collaborator and Toronto-based producer Ikky in all cities. The tour comes on the heels of his successful records Making Memories and Street Dreams.
