Radhika Apte, whose Bollywood journey began with the Shahid Kapoor-starrer Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! in 2005, faced her fair share of challenges in carving a niche as a leading actress over 19 years in the industry. Despite gaining recognition with the Bengali film Antaheen, Radhika struggled to deliver a major solo hit despite featuring in over 40 films across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi cinema. Her career took a significant turn when she ventured into the web series, marking her debut with the acclaimed web series Sacred Games in 2018. Expanding her horizons beyond Bollywood, Radhika ventured into Hollywood with roles in films like A Call To Spy and The Ashram, both released in 2019. Her global appeal further cemented her status as a versatile and accomplished actress.
Most recently, Radhika was seen in the film Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif. Besides her professional achievements, Radhika’s personal life includes her marriage to London-based musician Benedict Taylor in 2012.
