Watch: Karan Johar Gets 'Fashion Policed' At Home By Kids Yash And Roohi

If anyone in Bollywood has to be credited for a dramatic change in men’s fashion, it has to be Karan Johar. While many are fans of his unique sartorial choices, a few disapprove of his picks while attending different events. Even his kids are not great fans of his fashion choices and we have solid proof. On Sunday, the renowned filmmaker dropped a video on Instagram. The clip features his kids Yash and Roohi as they roast the fashion sense of their father, pulling his legs and mocking him.

Karan Johar’s little munchkins Yash and Roohi are seen seated on a sofa in the video. Twinning in deep blue T-shirts and grey pants, the kids looked cutest as ever. Impressed by their outfits, Karan told his kids, “Oh! You both are literally twinning. I like what you guys are wearing today!” The response of kids as they start roasting the director is simply unmissable. Roohi asked her father, “Why don’t you dress like this more often?”

A disappointed Karan Johar, then, responds by asking both his kids, “You don’t like what I am wearing?” Roohi and Yash, both, say no. When asked about the reason behind their disapproval, Yash adds that he does not understand it. Roohi, on the other hand, feels that the athleisure he wore looked more like a nightsuit. Sharing the video, Karan Johar wrote, “Just another day of being fashion policed at home!”

The cute video prompted reactions from many celebrities including Ananya Panday’s mother Bhavana Pandey, Manish Malhotra, Maheep Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Soni Razdan and television star Arjit Taneja as they all dropped hearts and laughing emojis in the comment section.

Not the first time that Karan Johar has been mocked by his kids for his fashion sense. In one of the videos shared earlier, both Yash and Roohi were seen poking fun at their father for wearing a kurta. As per the kids, it appeared that the kurta belonged to Karan Johar’s mother Hiroo Johar. “Now they think I am wearing my mothers clothes!!!! #lockdownwiththejohars #season2 #toodles #weareback,” Karan wrote, sharing the clip.

Karan Johar became a father to twins Yash and Roohi in 2017, through surrogacy. While he named his son after his deceased father Yash Johar, his daughter’s name is taken from his mother’s name Hiroo Johar. Karan is parenting the kids with the help of his mother.
