The latest and ninth season of the popular TV show ‘Bigg Boss’ has already created quite a stir amongst audiences, courtesy host Salman Khan’s lively antics and his crackling chemistry with the participants. During a special, exclusive episode (which will be aired tonight), IBN7's Akash Soni joins Khan to grill the contestants about the first week in the house. Referring to Salman as ‘anchor ke Bigg Boss’ and an ‘expert’, Akash lauds the actor for his spontaneity, questions contestants and even asks 'Bhai' for his reaction about the so-called ‘terror’ in the house because of his aura.
Interestingly, some time ago it was rumoured that ‘Bhai’, who had hosted the previous seasons as well, would not be associated with the show for its ninth season. But during the exclusive interaction with IBN7, the actor shares the reason that made him give his nod to the show. “I bring TRPS and the makers know that it cannot be done without me so I decided to host the show again," he joked.
However, on a serious note, Salman stats that ‘Bigg Boss’ is like family for him and he would remain a part of the franchise as the team works really hard to get participants who bring the show its TRPs. "Contestants which are selected by 'Bigg Boss' team give the show its content. And I'm here to give my reaction."
Apart from Salman’s stellar anchoring, another major highlight of ‘Bigg Boss 9’ has the presence of Mandina Karimi. During the past week the model-turned-actress has become nothing short of a social media thanks to numerous tantrums and tiffs with other participants. Moreover, sometime ago the ‘Bhaag Jhonny’ star surprised all and sundry, refusing to break ties with partner Keith. Explaining her decision to continue her association with the actor to Akash, the 27-year-old says that she was a perfectionist and Keith being a mature person was the right colleague for her. Moreover, Karimi also states that she was not in the show to make friends.
Interestingly, Keith’s girlfriend Rochelle Rao is also a participant on ‘Bigg Boss 9’. Needless to say she doesn’t share a very good equation with Karimi. Opening up about their rapport Rao says, "I am happy Keith is Mandana’s partner (on the show) as she is bringing out the best in him. Moreover, I share plenty of similarities with her and above all I hope to be friends with everybody."
