1. Ziddi (1948): This Bollywood film was directed by Shaheed Latif. It was based on a story written by Ismat Chughtai. The film helped establish its actors, Dev Anand, Kamini Kaushal, and Pran, in Hindi films. It also starred Nawab, Kuldeep Kaur and Chandabai in the supporting roles. As per reports, this film became the 5th highest grossing movie of 1948. The music for the film was composed by Khemchand Prakash. The playback singers Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar recorded their first duet, Yeh Kaun Aaya Re, together in Ziddi.

2. Ziddi (1964): The second film named Ziddi was made in 1964, and it emerged as the fourth highest grossing film of that year at the box office. In this movie, the pair of Joy Mukherjee and Asha Parekh was seen on the big screen. The film was directed by Pramod Chakraborty and has music by SD Burman, and its songs are penned by Hasrat Jaipuri, creating hits like Raat Ka Samaa.

3. Ziddi (1997): For the third time, a film named Ziddi was made in 1997. This time also the film proved successful at the box office. Sunny Deol, Raveena Tandon, Raj Babbar, and Ashish Vidyarthi star in this film, which was directed by Guddu Dhanoa. It was the story of an angry and stubborn Deva, which was well received by the audience, and the film became the sixth highest grossing film of 1997 and grossed Rs 32.43 million at the box office. The film was later remade in Tamil as Dharma, starring Vijayakanth.
