Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has addressed the swirling rumours about his dating life, particularly those linking him with actress Heera Sohhal. This comes after his much-talked-about breakup with actress-model Tina Thadani, whom he dated for several months before they parted ways in 2023. Heera Sohhal was seen attending Honey’s comeback concert in Mumbai last year, which was highly anticipated after his long hiatus from live performances. This sparked speculation about their relationship.
During an interview with Mashable India for The Bombay Journey show, Honey Singh was asked about a potential new relationship. With his signature nonchalant style, the rapper responded, “Aati hain chali jaati hai… girlfriend abhi koi nahi hai meri… Aise hi dost hai bahut saare.” When specifically questioned about Heera Sohhal, Honey quickly dismissed the rumours, saying, “Nahi Nahi… Abhi nahi… let’s cook something first then we’ll see,” followed by a blush that hinted there could be something brewing.
The rapper also took a moment to reflect on his last relationship with Tina Thadani. He admitted that he had been deeply in love with her and shared their romance openly with the world. “Last jo mera relationship tha, we were everywhere. I was madly in love with her. I have never hidden anything about my personal life. So now I want to get into things slowly,” he explained, revealing a more cautious approach toward love in the future.
Honey Singh and Tina Thadani’s relationship came to an end in early 2023, and the two have since unfollowed each other on social media, also deleting their photos together. A source quoted by Hindustan Times mentioned that the couple had different life goals, leading to their separation. While Honey has been open about the breakup, Tina is said to be heartbroken and focusing on her career.
Before dating Tina, Honey Singh was married to Shalini Talwar. Their marriage ended after Shalini accused the rapper of domestic violence, and they filed for divorce in September 2022, ending their 11-year marriage.
