Alia Bhatt has been a busy bee, juggling between multiple shoots and projects. The actress recently wrapped shooting for her highly anticipated film Jigra, after which she was returned back to bay. This afternoon, she was spotted for an event in town. The actress made a strong case for work-wear fashion. Alia looked effortlessly glam in a cut-out blazer, which she teamed with a pair of bell-bottom black trousers.
Alia was a complete vision to behold. She flashed her million-dollar smile as the shutterbugs captured her. She completed her look with dewy make-up and statement earrings. Finding the right balance between elegance and charm, Alia looked breathtakingly gorgeous.
Earlier last week, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and shared some candid pictures post Jigra wrap, also featuring her co-star Vedang Raina. In the snaps, the duo can be seen laughing and posing together, with the cityscape and riverfront in the background, during dusk. In another picture, Vedang Raina can also be seen hiding his face. Alia Bhatt penned the caption, “jigra oh… abki teri baari ho @vedangraina & that’s a film wrap on #JIGRA @vasanbala @swapsagram See you soon… 27th September 2024 at a cinema near you ♥️.”
In Jigra. Alia is not just playing the lead but also producing it. In a previous interview, Alia opened up about venturing into production and shared that it is ‘exciting and overwhelming’ at the same time.
“I believe stories are everywhere, and stories are everything! I turned producer with Eternal Sunshine to tell some of these stories, ones that evoke emotions and leave an impact. Our first production, Darlings, got so much love that it was exciting and overwhelming at the same time,” Alia said as quoted by Film Companion.
The 30-year-old actress further talked about Jigra and opened up about its plot. She revealed that the film is a story of ‘courage, passion, and determination’. “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production, Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion, and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic and enduringly timeless and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them alive,” Alia added.
Jigra is directed by Vasan Bala and is produced by Karan Johar. The film is all set to release on 27th September 2024.
