The charismatic and dynamic Allu Arjun has been the talk of the town ever since he received the prestigious Best Actor National Award for his remarkable performance in the blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise. The superstar recently made a trip to Delhi to accept this honour and was welcomed back to his hometown, Hyderabad in a heroic way. He was welcomed by a large number of his fans with dhols, flower garlands, and resounding applause.
However, the festivities did not stop there. Adding to the celebrations was Allu Arjun’s father-in-law, Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, who organized a surprise party in honour of the actor’s National Award win. The gathering was a star-studded affair, attended by close friends, family members, fellow industry colleagues, and dignitaries from the entertainment world. The National Award win for Allu Arjun has not only been a testament to his acting prowess but has also solidified his status as one of the most talented and beloved stars in the Indian film industry. The actor made history with the win, becoming the first Telugu actor to bring home the National Award for Best Acting. Ahead of the ceremony, Allu Arjun spoke to the media when he said, “I am extremely happy I am receiving this award, and receiving it for a commercial film is a double achievement for me personally.” Apart from winning the Best Actor category, Pushpa also brought home the award for Best Music Director (Songs).
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently working on the sequel of his blockbuster movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. Earlier this year, Allu Arjun shared his first-look poster of Pushpa 2 in which he was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported bangles, jewellery, a nose pin and jhumkas. Pushpa 2 will hit theatres in August next year.
