Dunki: Rajkumar Hirani Celebrates SRK-Led Film's Grand Opening With Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu | Watch

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki was finally released in theatres amid much anticipation on Thursday, December 21. After the mega successes of Pathaan and Jawan, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki is also well on its way to becoming a blockbuster hit. As such, a special screening of the film was organised recently and now a sweet video of the team celebrating the film’s success has emerged online.

In the video, Rajkumar Hirani could be seen celebrating the success of Dunki with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. They could not contain their smiles and laughter as they seemingly discussed the reactions that the film was receiving. Shah Rukh was seemingly missing from the event as he attended Anand Pandit’s birthday bash in the city.

However, Shah Rukh’s kids Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan were in attendance at the event. Deepika Padukone, who starred with Shah Rukh in his previous blockbusters of the year – Pathaan and Jawan – also showed up to extend support for Dunki.

As for the film, the first show at Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy at 5:55 am was a festive event and videos went viral on social media. Early estimates suggested that Dunki might earn around Rs 30 crore on Thursday, with morning and afternoon show occupancies at 26.45% and 21.77%, respectively, as per Sacnilk.com. The overall Hindi occupancy hovered around 24.11%.
