On Wednesday, the Lover songstress officially announced her concert film will be released on Thursday, October 12, a day prior.

If the good news of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie’s worldwide premiere wasn’t enough, now the global pop icon has confirmed early screening of her concert film in the US and Canada. And it is due to Swifties’ “unprecedented demand”. On Wednesday, the Lover songstress officially announced the concert film will be released on Thursday, October 12, a day prior. Moreover, additional showtimes and tickets will be made available owing to the excessive demand. “Look what you genuinely made me do,” said Taylor in a lengthy post on X adding she can’t wrap her head around the thunderous response amassed by her concert film.

“Due to unprecedented demand, we’re opening up early access showings of The Eras Tour Concert Film on Thursday in America and Canada!! As in… Tomorrow, ” she said of the premiere day. Taylor Swift continued, “We’re also adding additional showtimes on Friday and throughout the weekend. All tickets will be available by 10 am tomorrow morning. And it’ll be showing starting Friday in 90 countries all over the world.”

The Blank Space hitmaker concluded the announcement by thanking fans who’ve eagerly shown the internet to watch her “favorite adventure” of The Eras Tour. “And the best part is, it’s an adventure we’re still on together. Getting in the car now,” she articulated while signing off.

Initially, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was only set to release in North America but later the singer announced it would have a worldwide release. “The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide. Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters worldwide on Oct 13,” Taylor previously stated.

The musician began her Eras Tour in March from Arizona and kick-started a 35-show run which concluded in August in Los Angeles. Since then, she has headlined four shows in Mexico City for the first time before taking a break from touring. She will finish the 2023 leg of the Eras Tour in Argentina and Brazil by November before taking another interval for the holiday season. Taylor will resume the concert stretch in February 2024 in Tokyo before exploring other major cities across Europe, Australia, and Asia.

Besides her Eras Tour concert film, this month Swifties are also looking forward to the release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version). The musician will drop her fourth re-recorded album on October 27.
