Panchayat 2 Fame Aanchal Tiwari recently grabbed all headlines after news went viral claiming that she died in a road accident in Bihar on Sunday. However, on Wednesday she rubbished all rumours and confirmed that she is alive. She took to her social media handle and shared a video saying that Aanchal Tiwari, who passed away, was a Bhojpuri actress with the same name, and the media confused it with her.
In the video, Aanchal mentioned that she was alive and claimed the viral news was fake. “To all media outlets, I am alive and well, blessed by God’s grace! It has come to my attention that false information claiming I was in a car accident and passed away has been circulated using my picture. This unprofessional and disgraceful act has intensely traumatized me. I urge all media outlets to be diligent in fact-checking before circulating information. Using someone’s image in such a misleading way is unacceptable and hostile. Let’s hold ourselves to higher standards of integrity and responsibility. Please help me spread the truth by sharing this post and putting an end to these malicious rumours. Let’s all strive for accuracy, respect, and empathy in our reporting. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern – I truly appreciate your support,’ the video caption reads.

In Panchayat 2, Anchal essayed the role of Raveena, Parmeshwar’s daughter. Last year, Amazon Prime Video dropped its popular series Panchayat first look on social media. The featured image captures the actor, portraying the Panchayat Secretary, riding a motorcycle with bags strapped on his back. It remains uncertain if this signifies his departure from the Phulera village. The makers are yet to announce the show’s release date. The subsequent photo in the post showcases other characters from the series, including Banrakas, Vinod, and Madhav, played by Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, and Bulloo Kumar, respectively. They are seated on a bench against a wall bearing the words, “Thokar lagti hai to dard hota hai, tabhi manushya seekh pata hai (Failures might hurt you, but you learn from your failures).”
