Don't Come to India If You Can't Handle the Pressure, Even Our C Team Can Beat Pakistan’s Main XI: Sreesanth

S Sreesanth slammed the Pakistan cricket team and said it should not travel to India if they can’t handle the pressure as he feels that Babar Azam and Co. stand no chance against even India’s C team.

Pakistan team has not been able to perform to its potential in the ongoing ODI World Cup and the massive defeat against India derailed their campaign. Babar and Co. failed to match the intensity of the Men in Blue in the high-octane clash at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Sreesanth reacted to Pakistan’s team director Mickey Arthur’s comments that Pakistan will meet India in the final of the World Cup. The former pacer responded bluntly to the IND vs PAK rivalry and said that India’s C team can beat the current Pakistan XI.

“Mickey Arthur said we’ll meet in the final. I don’t think Pakistan can ever beat India in an ICC trophy and or in any other event considering the team they have. Even our C team can beat Pakistan’s main XI. Make an IPL XI of players who are not playing, even they can defeat the Pakistan team,” Sreesanth told Sportskeeda.

Pakistan crumbled under pressure in front of more than 1 lakh fans in Ahmedabad as they failed to pose a challenge against India who stamped their authority in all three departments. After restricting Pakistan to just 191, India went on to chase the target in just 30.3 overs and clinched the win by 7 wickets.

Sreesanth recalled legendary India captain MS Dhoni’s mantra to cope with the pressure and said that if Pakistan can’t handle it then it’s better for them to not come to India.

“See, you will get praise from the crowd if you do well and if you do poorly, you will get criticized. As a team, you need to be ready for both. Mahi bhai always has said to focus on process because the pressure will always be there. Don’t come to India if you can’t handle the pressure. Go back. As it is you’re playing that way,” Sreesanth added.

Pakistan are currently placed at the fifth spot on the points table with 2 wins and as many losses in four matches.
