Joint CSIR UGC NET 2023 Application Process Begins for December Session, How to Register

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the registrations for the CSIR-UGC Joint National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET 2023) December session. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications up to November 30 on the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. The application form correction window will open on December 2 and conclude on December 4. As per the official schedule, the exam will be held on December 26, 27, and 28.

The CSIR UGC NET 2023 will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be held for a duration of 180 minutes or three hours. The paper will contain multiple-choice questions. The will be five papers in the CSIR-UGC NET which include Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The papers will be in English and Hindi medium.

“Before applying for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2023, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information Bulletin carefully. The exam fee is also required to be paid online only through payment gateway using debit/credit cards, internet banking or UPI,” reads the official notice on the website.

CSIR UGC NET 2023: How to Apply

Step 1: Go to the official page of CSIR UGC NET 2023 at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Search and click on the “CSIR UGC NET” link on the home page.

Step 3: Fill up the application form as required and make the payment of the application fees.

Step 4: Submit the CSIR UGC NET 2023 December session application form.

Step 5: Download and take a printout of the CSIR NET form for future reference.

NTA will be conducting the Joint CSIR-UGC NET examination in December 2023 to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges.
