New Delhi: 2G petitioner and Janta Party President Subramanian Swamy is
likely to argue his case against Home Minister P Chidambaram in a Delhi Court on Saturday.
Swamy will argue on the basis of the documentary evidence he submitted in court last week. Swamy has alleged that Chidambaram who was then finance minister had colluded with former telecom Minster A Raja on the 2G spectrum pricing.
Swamy submitted copies of what he calls documentary evidence on Chidambaram's involvement in the 2G spectrum scam before a Special Judge in Delhi.
The documents include memos of the Finance Ministry, the CIT and copies of letters exchanged between Chidambaram who was the then Finance Minister, and former telecom minister A Raja and the Prime Minister.
Swamy told the court that he wanted to make Chidambaram a co-accused in the 2G scam. He has alleged that Chidambaram colluded with Raja on matters related to fixing of the spectrum, allowing the dilution of shares of two companies Unitech and Swan.
Swamy claimed that Chidambaram was involved in criminal breach of trust and had compromised national security.
