The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by Chandrababu Naidu emerged on top in Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha Elections 2024, defeating Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP. The TDP won 16 of the 25 seats in the southern state while its ally BJP won three seats. The YSRCP was brought down to just four Lok Sabha seats in Andra Pradesh.
YSRCP’s Peddireddy Venkata Midhun Reddy won from the Rajampet seat against BJP’s N Kiran Kumar Reddy. In Kadapa, YSRCP’s Avinash Reddy won against Congress’s YS Sharmila Reddy and TDP’s Chadipiralla Bhupesh Reddy.
