Disproportionate assets case: Karnataka HC directs probe against Yeddyurappa

Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday directed a probe against former chief minister and BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa in a disproportionate assets case.

Earlier a court in Shimoga had quashed FIRs against Yeddyurappa in the case. The FIR had alleged that Yeddyurappa had grabbed government land in Shimoga.

The HC overturned the lower court's decision and directed the magistrate to take up the case afresh.
