New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan was on Wednesday given the additional charge of Telangana.
The new state of Telangana will be carved out on June 2.
The state of Andhra Pradesh is currently under the President's rule following the resignation of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who gave up his post after the UPA government created the Telangana.
