Guj BJP to campaign against minority sub-quota
The state BJP executive meeting, in which, Gujarat CM Narendra Modi was present, passed a resolution against the minority sub-quota.

Ahmedabad: BJP state executive, which met in Ahmedabad on Sunday, passed a resolution against the Congress-led UPA government for the 4.5 per cent minority sub-quota within the OBC reservation and announced to launch a campaign against it.

The state BJP executive meeting, in which, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi was present, passed a resolution against the minority sub-quota, party spokesperson Jagdish Bhavsar said.

"We will start a state-wide campaign against Centre's decision to give reservations from OBC quota to minorities from February 1," he said.

The state executive also praised Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for launching 'Sadbhavana Mission' in the state.

State BJP president RC Faldu and party's national vice-president Purshottam Rupala called upon the state executive members to take the December 2012 state Assembly election very seriously and advised them not to be complacent.

Modi and BJP national general secretary V Satish also addressed the meeting.
