It's a tit-for-tat battle between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in Telangana, with both the parties trading bribery charges on one another.
In the latest development, two TDP MLAs have complained to Telangana anti-corruption bureau, alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's son KT Rama Rao offered them money to switch sides.
TDP MLAs Vivek Goud and Rajender Reddy lodged complaints with the Telangana ACB against the TRS government, naming Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao. The MLAs alleged in the complaint that they were offered money and the post of the Corporation Commissioner to Rajender Reddy if they jumped parties.
The TDP MLAs also allege that the TRS government stopped issuing funds to their constituencies for denying their offers to switch parties.
Interestingly, this came after TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was arrested for allegedly offering money to a TRS leader.
