Dehradun: Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today said he had better focus on the legacy of RSS than trying to claim the legacy of Gandhi, Nehru and Patel.
Speaking at a function in the city on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Singh said, "Modi should focus on RSS and not on Gandhi, Nehru and Patel."
Terming the BJP as a power hungry party which did not have qualms rubbing shoulders with the NCP in Maharashtra, Digvijay accused the saffon party of entering into a 'secret' poll pact with Majlise-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen for the upcoming polls in the national capital.
"BJP can go to any extreme for power," he said. Describing Ramdev as "just a businessman", he said there should be a fair probe into the land deals of Patanjali Yogpeeth in Uttarakhand and the yoga guru should not be allowed to fool people.
Nearly 100 cases of alleged violation of the Indian Stamps Act and violation of the Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms (ZALR) Act were lodged against various companies of Ramdev in a space of just two months during the previous Vijay Bahuguna government in Uttarakhand.
