115. Nawan is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Nagaur Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Nawan falls in Nagaur district and West region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,37,706 voters in the seat, which includes 1,23,011 male voters, and 1,14,695 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Nawan recorded a voter turnout of 72.9%. In 2013 the turnout was 74.83%, and in 2008 it was 67.7%.
In 2013, Vijay Singh of BJP won the seat by a margin of 29,779 votes (19.35%). Vijay Singh secured 55.23% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 21,847 votes (17.15%), registering 49.42% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Nawan Assembly segment of the Nagaur Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
