At a meeting of the Congress's highest decision-making body, the party accused the BJP of violating constitutional law, the states' rights, parliamentary procedure and democratic governance.

The bill to extend 10% reservation to economically weaker sections in J&K, which was passed by Rajya Sabha on Monday, was withdrawn by Amit Shah in Lok Sabha after the House passed the resolution on Kashmir.

Amit Shah assured the opposition members that he would move the bill and the resolution for consideration of the House on Tuesday and was only seeking the permission of the House for the same now.
