Late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar left for his heavenly abode in 2021. Known for his charming smile and stage presence, the actor is remembered by many for his contribution to Kannada cinema. A die-hard fan of the late actor named Shivanand Muthannavara talked about the kind of food he loved, mentioning a specific item. To promote his films, Puneeth Rajkumar went to a number of places and naturally tried the food there. Shivanand talked exclusively to News18 about the kind of food Puneeth Rajkumar loved.
According to him, the actor loved eating at Savji Khanavali whenever he came to Hubbali. He revealed that he even cooked the same food as a Savji Khanavali with them during his visits. He further talked about how much the actor loved eating sweets. He said he loved Mishra Pedha from Dharwad, Karnataka.
With Puneeth Rajkumar’s birth anniversary coming up this month, the fan revealed that he has planned a celebration for the occasion.
The notable Kannada actor passed away on October 29, 2021, after suffering from a cardiac arrest. He was 46 years old.
The actor’s last film was Yuvarathnaa, which was released on April 1, 2021. It was made under the direction of Santhosh Ananddram and starred Puneeth Rajkumar, Sayyeshaa, Dhananjay, Prakash Raj, Diganth, and Sai Kumar in important roles. The film was produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, while the music was composed by S Thaman. The cinematographer was Venkatesh Anguraj, and Jnaanesh B Matad did the editing.
Puneeth Rajkumar’s posthumous release was Gandhada Gudi, a docudrama directed by Amoghavarsha JS. Puneeth Rajkumar appeared as himself in the film, along with Amoghavarsha JS, and Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar. It was also produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar under the banner of PRK Productions, and Mudskipper, and released on October 28, 2022.
