The much-anticipated film Salaar has been released today. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film stars Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the leading roles. Other actors including Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju are also seen in pivotal roles. Produced by Hombale Films, the banner behind the KGF franchise, Salaar revolves around the violent succession story of the city of Khansaa.
Billed as an action thriller, the big-budget action film is projected to earn Rs 95 crore net in India on its first day, spanning all languages, according to film industry tracker Sacnilk.

Prabhas:
Prabhas will be earning Rs 100 crore for his lead role in Salaar, according to reports. The Baahubali star will also reportedly receive an additional 10% on a profit-sharing basis. The film, as per India Today, was produced with a budget of Rs 400 crore.
Prashanth Neel:
Acclaimed for the pan-India success of his 2018 action film KGF and its 2022 sequel, Prashanth Neel stands as one of the most sought-after directors in the country. Recent reports indicate that Neel had set a fee of Rs 50 crore for his dual role in writing and directing Salaar.
Prithviraj Sukumaran:
Prithviraj Sukumaran, known for his role in numerous South films, is reportedly charging Rs 4 crore for his role in Salaar. His character, Varadharaja Mannar, is seen as equally important as Prabhas’ role. Speculations suggest he will be seen in a dual role.
Shruti Haasan:
Actress Shruti Haasan is roped in as the female lead of the film. Reports suggest that the actress has secured a substantial amount of Rs 8 crore for her role.
Jagapathi Babu:
Zee News reports that Jagapathi Babu is charging a fee of Rs 4 crore for playing the role of villain in both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film Salaar.
