The makers of the upcoming film Market Mahalakshmi recently released the official trailer of the film. The trailer starts with a scene showing a father wanting his son to marry for a dowry. Touted to be a romantic comedy, the film is produced by Akhilesh Kalaru under the banner of B2P Studios.
So far, the trailer has garnered over 199,780 views and is still counting more. Several social media users have commented on the video. One user wrote, “Looking forward to watching this movie in theatres". Another user added, “So many funny and interesting characters in the trailer". The third user commented, “Congratulations in advance to the whole team #marketmahalakshmi hoping it will be a huge success". “Audience will enjoy this film, classy direction".
Market Mahalakshmi revolves around a young guy. His father wants him to marry a rich girl, but he is seen rejecting marriage proposals set up by his father. Instead, he falls for a girl who sells vegetables on the street. Even though she rejects him at first, he keeps trying to win her over. He even opens a vegetable shop next to her stall.
Written and directed by VS Mukkhesh, the film stars Parvateesam and Praneekaanvikaa in leading roles. Other actors including Harsha Vardhan, Mahaboob Basha, Mukku Avinash, Kedar Shankar, Meesam Suresh, Pooja Vishweswar and Jaya Naidu among others will also be seen in crucial roles.
Praneekaanvikaa is making her acting debut with this film. She will be seen in a leading role in the movie. Market Mahalakshmi also marks the directorial debut of VS Mukkhesh. With music composed by Joe Emnav, the cinematography of the film is handed by Surendra Chilumula.
After the launch event of the film Tyler, actor Parvateesam opened up about his recent struggles. In a recent interview, he said that he is certain that his upcoming film Market Mahalakshmi will be a hit.
On the professional front, Parvateesam shot to fame with films including Operation Gold Fish, Kerintha and Savitri W/o Satyamurthi. He was last seen in the hit film Gammathu. Now, he has an upcoming film titled Telusa Manasa in the pipeline.
