New Delhi: Asus has launched an advanced version of its Zenfone Max smartphone that was first introduced earlier this year. The new Zenfone Max comes with an improved chipset and runs the latest Android Marshmallow.
The new Zenfone Max features a 5.5-inch HD display offering 1280 x 720 resolution and under its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor paired with either a 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM.
The phone further includes a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0-aperture and dual LED flash. With a 5 megapixel front snapper with f/2.0-aperture, the Zenfone Max comes with laser Auto Focus technology that is claimed to focus on an object in 0.03 seconds.
The new Zenfone Max also features a 5000mAh battery and comes with OTG support, which means one could use the phone even as a powerbank to charge another phone.
Another improvement in the new Zenfone Max is the internal storage which has been upped to 32 GB which can be further expanded using a microSD card of up to 64 GB.
The new Zenfone Max is priced at Rs 9,999 for 2 GB RAM while the 3 GB variant is priced at 12,999. The phone is available for pre-order on leading e-commerce portals. It is available in three colour choices- black, orange, and blue.
