Stepping up the user experience in it’s smart messaging app “Allo”, Google today released the latest set of updates including Smart Smileys, chat themes, an exclusive “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” sticker pack as well as new ways in which Google Allo users can find and download emojis and stickers.
With Smart Smiley, Google Allo makes it easier to find and send the relevant emoji or sticker based on the topic and sentiment of the conversation. Users just need to tap the Smart Smiley button as they’re typing a message and Allo will suggest relevant emojis and stickers to help finish the thought. For example, if you’re planning dinner with a friend, you may see ????, ????, or ????. Or if you type “see you later” we’ll offer to complete that thought with ????..
Enhancing the customised chat experience, the latest update will also bring new themes including a variety of different colours and patterns like “watermelon” or “sorbet” for users to choose from.
In addition, an exclusive “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” sticker pack featuring characters and creatures for the upcoming Warner Bros. film are now available for download in Google Allo.
Further, Google is now making it easier to download new sticker packs. Users can now simply tap on any sticker that a friend shares in chat to download it directly from the respective sticker pack in the sticker marketplace.
Google Allo is available for download on Android and iOS. These new features and experiences will begin rolling out starting today. Smart Smiley will be available in English and Hinglish to start with and will come to more languages over time.
