'Samsung Internet for Gear VR' app allows users of the virtual reality Gear headset to surf the web and find more VR content.

On December 2, Samsung is launching a beta mode of its new web browser for the Gear virtual reality headset.

"Samsung Internet for Gear VR" is Samsung's latest development: an app allowing users of the virtual reality Gear headset to surf the web and find more VR content.

Web addresses are entered using voice recognition software, and "Gaze Mode." Samsung explains: "Internet for VR provides voice recognition, along with on-screen keyboard. With Gaze Mode, users can select menus by simply gazing at them, without having to lift a finger."

The app is available from December 2, through the Oculus Store and works with Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 5 devices.
