Jennifer Mistry shared the production team of TMKOC always causes obstacles for those who desire to quit the show.

Palak Sindhwani has been hogging the limelight for her accusations on the production team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. FYI, she played Sonu Bhide in the popular sitcom. The actress announced her exit from the show alleging harassment and mental torture from the makers of the show. Amid the controversy, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played the role of Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi, has come out speaking in support of Palak, bashing the team of the sitcom for their misconduct with the actors.

In a conversation with Times Now, Jennifer Mistry shared the production team of TMKOC always causes obstacles for those who desire to quit the show. Adding that other actors have also gone through the same, Jennifer noted, “In fact, the makers could not do anything. They create such dramas often. They will never let people leave happily.”

Labelling Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah a ‘jail’, Jennifer Mistry further alleged that the makers resorted to the same tactic of serving legal notice when they came to know about Palak’s decision to leave the show. Recalling her time with Palak on the sets of the sitcom, Jennifer said that she is ‘sweet’ and it is obvious for her to be stressed about not being paid for her work.

According to her, Raj Anadkat, Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha and many others were also not paid by the makers. She said, “It’s been one and a half years and I am yet to receive my payment.” She also said, “They will play the same game with Palak as well. They don’t know that the people now are aware of their tactics and the torture they have been doing to the artists will come before the people.”

Speaking about the dispute between her and Neela Film Productions, Palak Sindhwani earlier told ETimes, “They never discussed any exclusivity contract with me, but as soon as I expressed my desire to leave the show in August, the exploitation began. They likely thought I wouldn’t wait until May to leave, so they started treating me unfairly. The exploitation reached its peak when they accused me of breaching the contract.”

“I kept asking when I could officially resign. It was emotionally draining, I was hurt inside and mentally affected. I would cry in my makeup room and then pull myself together for the shots,” added Palak Sindhwani.

Palak Sindhwani had also issued a statement adding Neela Film Productions has not paid her over Rs 21 lakh.
