Do you know a man who has earned lakhs of rupees by riding roller coasters? Yes, it is true. The name of the man is Sean Ivans. He transformed his fear into passion. The most inspiring thing is that though his fear regarding the roller coaster ride has not ended, he still enjoys this ride and shared his experience with the audience on social media. This professional roller coaster rider made millions by travelling the world and vlogging his adventures on social media and is claimed to be living the dream. He is 33-year-old and a content creator by profession. He claims that since childhood he has been afraid of heights and often being the first to close the curtains on aeroplanes during family holidays. During the pandemic, he found comfort in watching videos of theme parks and felt like he could escape. This inspired him to start a YouTube channel called Lift Hills and Thrills. He now has about 21,000 subscribers and has posted around 445 videos. He has opened this YouTube channel with the aim of visiting theme parks and documenting experiences.

Despite suffering from vertigo, which can trigger dizziness and migraines for 24 hours, Sean decided to ride his first roller coaster in May 2021. He set a park record by riding Nemesis at Alton Towers 64 times in six hours. According to him, going on the ride did not make his condition worse but even better. Since then, he has visited about 50 theme parks and ridden about 130 roller coasters.
Recalling his time spent watching videos during lockdown, he explained how content about people discovering the world have inspired him which turned his desires into an obsession. He posted videos about Alton Towers’ reopening plans and new social distancing rules for theme parks during lockdown. Recently, he has also posted a video where he was interviewed in a Theme Park TV show.
Ivans claims that he is successful in turning his passion into a full-time job and enjoys travelling the world.
