The influencers recreated the scene when Kajol's character Anjali meets Shah Rukh Khan, who plays Rahul Raichand, for the first time and mistakes him for her sister's fiance.

Social media has significantly diminished borders, allowing content creators and internet users from all over the world to communicate without restriction. People across the globe have become more interested in learning about each other’s cultures. Similarly, many are interested in learning more about India beyond its tourist attractions, and social media has made this feasible. Aside from food and clothes, the love of Bollywood films and music has spread the most. In the latest, two Japanese influencers have recreated famous dialogues from the popular Shah Rukh Khan film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Mayo and Kake Taku are Japanese influencers who shared a video of themselves dressed as the lead characters of the film. They recreated the scene when Kajol’s character Anjali meets Shah Rukh Khan, who plays Rahul Raichand, for the first time and mistakes him for her sister’s fiance. Mayo enacts the scene flawlessly, dressed in an Indian traditional suit and a pair of traditional jhumkas. She nailed the expression and the timing was accurate when compared to the original clip. On the other hand, Kake Taku is seen imitating Shah Rukh dressed in a similar light coloured suit. The influencers also mentioned that Bollywood has undoubtedly become a way for Hindi language to reach across borders. The caption read, “Learning Hindi in 2024 is like…Bade Mazaki Ho – Comedy Scene – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.”

Someone stated, “Wow you guys failed the original one,” and one also noted, “Guys you did it great..overacting se jyada ye original lag rahe the.”

Some days back, the same Japanese influencer Kake Taku made a dance rendition of the popular Pushpa Pushpa song from Allu Arjun’s film. He released a video on Instagram doing the popular track’s hook steps in his dance reel. Kake Taku, dressed like Allu Arjun, performed the song elegantly. Needless to say, the video has caused quite a stir online, attracting the attention of Allu Arjun followers.
