The adorable behaviour of elephants never fails to amaze us. From their endearing playfulness to their gentle demeanour, these majestic creatures always leave a lasting impression. In a recent viral video shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan, a baby elephant’s playful dip in a mud water has taken the internet by storm, reminding us of the sheer joy found in nature’s embrace.
In the thirty-second video, the baby elephant beams with happiness, splashing around in the water with pure delight. It’s like a little bath-time adventure for the adorable calf who finds joy in the simple pleasure of cooling off in the muddy water. Accompanying the video, Parveen Kaswan shared a poignant caption, “While on field found this elephant calf just enjoying in a river. Bare necessities.”

A user wrote, “That’s how you make childhood memories…,” while another commented, “This is so beautiful, divine.”
“Most of the beautiful things simply exist in a very simple form, but we, as humans, make it complex,” mentioned another.
Some also expressed concern about the baby elephant’s herd and surroundings. One comment read, “What about the herd? Are they near this baby elephant?”
This isn’t the first time Parveen Kaswan has delighted the online community with captivating glimpses of wildlife encounters. Just a few hours ago, he shared another mesmerising video on his Instagram account that offers a top-angle view of a group of elephants. The video, taken by a drone, beautifully captures the elephants, including calves, as they leisurely enjoy their day in the expansive grasslands.
