Watch: Gurugram Girl Claims Her Body Is Possessed By A Man's Ghost

Every religious faith in the world has stories of ghosts and spirits, with people divided between those who believe in the supernatural and sceptics. Bodily possession, which means a spirit taking control of the body of a living, has been the context in various fictional horror works like movies, series and novels. You may have also time and again, stumbled upon possession videos on the internet, many of which are claimed to be true. However, a very different kind of video related to the same is doing the rounds on the internet lately.

The video is from Gurugram and shows a man interrogating a young girl, who is possessed by a boy named Ashok. The girl is named Akanksha and is a resident of Shani Dham in Gurugram. She goes on to tell a bizarre tale to the man interviewing her. According to the video, it is not Akanksha who is speaking but a boy named Ashok who has been possessing the body of Akanksha for 8 years. On being probed further, the girl (claiming to be Ashok speaking), said that he was put into the body of the little girl with the help of a sadhu, who did it for Ashok’s salvation. He even wanted Ashok to kill the girl.

On being asked if he remembers how he died, Akanksha/Ashok replies by saying that he was murdered by his uncle who took him to a fair and then pushed him into a canal. Take a look at the video here:

The internet has mostly written off the entire interview as a ploy to gain views and believe it to be nothing but hogwash. While commending the girl’s acting skills, many users believe that the girl’s parents should be penalised for making her put up this facade.
