The AP Government, Department of School Education has postponed the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 July session exam to October. The exam will initially be scheduled to be held from August 5 to 20, 2024. It will now be conducted from October 3 to 20 in two shifts — 9.30 am to noon and 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
The registration process which commenced on July 4 will continue till August 3. It was earlier scheduled to conclude on July 17. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the AP TET 2024 by visiting the official website at aptet.apcfss.in.
Applicants need to pay a fee of Rs 750 for each paper. As per the new schedule, the admit cards will be issued on September 22. The answer key will be released on October 4 and the final answer key will be out on October 27. The results of AP TET 2024 will be out on November 2.
AP TET 2024: Educational Qualification
— To apply for AP TET 2024, candidates must have a minimum of 45 per cent marks in class 12 or its equivalent.
— Those who have cleared a two-year diploma in education or two-year diploma in elementary education or four years of bachelor’s in elementary education are also eligible to apply for the exam.
— Candidates who scored at least 50 per cent marks in class 12 and have a two-year diploma in elementary education/ four years of bachelor’s in elementary education/two-year diploma in education may also apply.
— Those who have completed graduation along with a two-year diploma in elementary education or graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and completed a bachelor of education are also eligible to apply for AP TET.
— Those who have completed post-graduation with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated BEd/ MEd can also apply.

Step 1: Visit aptet.apcfss.in.
Step 2: Click on the link to make the application payment.
Step 3: Complete the fee transaction and log in with the required credentials.
Step 4: Fill up the application form.
Step 5: Upload the required documents. Submit.
Step 6: Download and keep a hard copy of the acknowledgment form for future reference.
Candidates who qualify for paper 1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 and the candidates who clear paper 2 will be eligible to teach classes 6 to 8.
