Vidyut will no longer be able to be a part of the Screen awards as he was injured during the rehearsals.
Mumbai: Actor Vidyut Jamwal has injured himself while rehearsing for an awards show and is likely to be replaced by Arjun Kapoor.
Vidyut, 33, who was all set for a fiery act for the 20th annual Screen Awards, will no longer be able to be a part of the mega awards function as he was injured during the rehearsals.
"Vidyut while rehearsing hurt his leg and toes and had to be rushed to hospital immediately. We were hopeful of his performance. However, his health did not permit him to perform. As a last minute replacement we approached Arjun Kapoor and Rajbir Singh from the show 'The Adventures of Hatim'," a source said.
The Screen awards, which will take place today, will be aired on Life OK channel sometime later.
