Ashisaras speech interrupted

GOGI [Shahapur]: The chairman of Western Ghats Task Force Committee Anant Hegde Ashishara had to end his speech abruptly in the public grievances hearing here as the audience started raising slogans against him.While Ashishara was delivering his speech, some audience members stood up and said that for the last four years they were drinking polluted water due to affluents of the uranium unit in Gogi.“Many people come and make speeches, which is futile.” Ashisara tried in vain to convince the people about the purpose of his visit and walked away.Ashishara later told Sunday Express: “There is always someone who wants to disturb the meetings.”
