New Delhi: BlackBerry has launched its much-awaited keyboard-equipped BlackBerry Q10 in India at Rs 44,990. The phone includes a QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen. The top-of-the-line QWERTY smartphone from BlackBerry is available in two colours - black and white.

The new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone is expected to be available in India starting tomorrow from authorised carriers and retailers.

The device comes powered by a 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor. Running the BlackBerry 10 OS, the phone has a 3.1-inch OLED touch display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels.

It has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera, and comes with an internal storage of 16GB. Its memory can be expanded upto 64GB. The phone has 2GB RAM. It supports 1080p HD video recording.

The phone is packed with a 2100 mAh Li-ion battery. The BlackBerry Q10 features a glass-weave material which is said to be stronger than plastic.

In February, BlackBerry launched a keyboard-less phone running the new BlackBerry 10 OS named "BlackBerry Z10" at Rs 43,490. If you compare the specs of both Z10 and Q10, you will hardly find any difference. The major difference between the two is that the Z10 is keyboard-less, while the Q10 comes with a physical keybaord.

With the Q10, BlackBerry plans to target those traditional BlackBerry userbase who prefer a physical QWERTY keybaords
