BANGALORE: A 20-year-old-student was killed and six persons injured in an accident when a speeding cab hit a motorcycle and rammed into a building’s compound on Infantry Road on Sunday night, Shivajinagar traffic police said. The deceased has been identified as Ishak Sharief, a resident of Dubai who was staying in Fraser Town. He had come to the city for higher education.According to police, the incident occurred on Sunday midnight when Ishak was returning home with his relatives in a cab after attending a wedding at Gulshan Convention Hall. “The cab driver was driving the vehicle rashly and he rammed it into a building’s compound after hitting a motorcycle on Infantry Road. Six persons, including a woman, sustained injuries. The motorcycle rider Goutham was also injured. They were rushed to a hospital,” they said.Ishak had come to the city a few days ago and was staying at his relative’s house. He sustained severe injuries in the head. He succumbed to internal bleeding, the police said.
