Chennai-based sexologist Narayana Reddy has been awarded the Gold Medal Award 2007 by World Association for Sexology.
New Delhi: As India debates if sex education should be made compulsory in schools, Chennai-based sexologist Dr D Narayana Reddy has been awarded the Gold Medal Award 2007 by the World Association for Sexology for his pioneering work in the field.
The award was presented to him during the 18th World Congress of Sexology that was held in Sydney, Australia on April 15, agencies quoted a press note as saying.
Reddy runs the Dega Institute in Chennai, and has been involved with andropause research for over a decade now.
He has recently set up an andropause clinic at the Apollo Hospitals and Reddy says it has been set up not only to treat people but also put together all information related to male menopause.
