The Hyderabad Water Board has decided to extend the last date by a week for submission of tenders for execution of the third phase of Krishna Drinking Water Supply Scheme.
The board issued a notification on September 15 inviting nationwide tenders for the `1,670-crore for the project fixing October 10 as the last date for submission. But it has decided to extend the deadline to October 17 to enable more firms and agencies to participate in the process following relaxation of qualification criterion in respect of the tenders of the municipal administration and urban development department (MAUD) in compliance with the orders of the irrigation and command area development (I&CAD) department.
The Board of Chief Engineers, at its meeting held on September 17, recommended consideration of the experience of last 10 years in the assessment of qualifying criteria for tendering the works in respect of MAUD works, and issued similar orders in respect of I&CAD also.
