The violence in AP continues as naxals belonging to CPI (Maoist) party on Wednesday gunned down CPI(M) Secretary, Kurlaplly village.
New Delhi: CPI (Maoist) naxals shot dead a Communist Party of India (CPI-M) leader in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday morning.
Police said nearly 20 naxals came to the village and gunned down CPI(M) Secretary, Kurlaplly village, V Veeraiah at a government school. They fled from the scene soon after the incident.
The killing comes a day after 10 armed Maoist extremists a man from his residence to the outskirts of the Inole village in Mahabubnagar district and fired at him.
The injured was admitted to Osmania Hospital.
