Top Kannada actress, director to wed

New Delhi: Bangalore's glamour girl Rakshitha may have lost her stronghold in the film industry but she has found something to cherish for the rest of her life.

Daughter of yesteryear star Mamatha Rao, Rakshitha is tying the knot with Kannada film director, Prem in Bangalore on Friday.

The duo met on the sets Jogi. Prem is now making his debut as an actor in Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe

Over 5,000 wedding invites have been printed, including special ones for film stars and other VVIPs.

The pre-wedding ceremony on Thursday saw Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa blessing the couple.

Rakshitha has spread her wings beyond the boundaries of Karnataka and has started acting in Telugu and Tamil films as well.
