New Delhi: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga charmed everyone at the Melbourne Park during the just-concluded Australian Open and though he lost out on his first Grand Slam title, he won over tennis lovers.

Now the 22-year-old Frenchman is already gunning for the second Grand Slam of the year - French Open.

Tsonga was quick to admit that there can only be one winner in a tennis match.

"It was really tight and Novak played very well. On the day, I think that both of us were very good on the tennis court. When you play tennis, there's no drawn match, there's always a winner and it was Novak this time," Tsonga said.

The next big event that's already occupying Tsonga's mind is the French Open and he will be looking to carry the confidence that he gained in Melbourne into the French Open.

"I will get ready to make the most of my chances and be my best at Roland Garros. I'm very eager to evolve well in the sense that, for the past two or three years, I haven't been able to express myself properly," he said.

Tsonga's ranking improved to 18 after his performance in the last couple of weeks and he knows that he has a long way to go before he can dream of holding up one of the Grand Slam trophies.

"I've always dreamed of becoming a tennis champion. Today, I feel that I have not reached that stage yet, I can still improve my game and that drives me forward to carry on and get ready, as best as possible, for each tournament," he added.

Even without any Grand Slam under his belt, Tsonga is speaking like a true champion.
