Turkey: Two more people have died in Turkey because of the deadly Bird flu virus. The death toll in the country has now reached 18 and most of the affected are children.

While the World Health Organisation (WHO) says the virus has not begun to mutate, scientists fear it could soon change into a form that spreads easily among humans.

It could then cause a pandemic, killing millions of people. WHO officials say they'll soon set up a global task force to tackle the situation.

Meanwhile, all hands are on deck to avoid an outbreak of Bird Flu in and around the Turkish Region.

Turkey and its neighbouring countries are stepping up efforts to halt an outbreak of the deadly virus.

The spread of bird flu in Turkey is the worst since the one in Hong Kong in 1997, when 18 people got infected and six died before it could be controlled.
