HYDERABAD: One question has been deleted each from engineering, agricultural and medicine stream question papers in the recently held Eamcet because of an error in framing of question, JNTU-H officials said while releasing the key of Eamcet.JNTU-H vice-chancellor DN Reddy addressing a press conference said that the erroneous questions were deleted since there was ambiguity in framing of the question.'Hence the aggregate marks in both engineering, agricultural and medicine stream will be reduced to 159 instead of the actual 160 marks,' Reddy said.According to him, in the engineering stream under code A question paper (question no 85), code B question paper (question no 98), code C question paper (question no 116) and code D question paper (question no 89) have been deleted.Similarly in agriculture and medicine stream, under code A question paper (question no 100), code B question paper (question no 91), code C question paper (question no 105) and code D question paper (question no 82) were deleted.Reddy said that in zoology paper there was no mistake in framing of questions but in one of the questions two correct answers were given as choices. This happened in code A question paper (question no 71), code B question paper (question no 57), code C question paper (question no 62) and code D question paper (question no 51). 'So the students who answered either of the correct answers will be given marks,' the vice-chancellor said.JNTU officials released the key for Eamcet on Wednesday and said they would accept written complaints if they find new mistakes in the question paper.
