BLACKPINK’s Jennie Welcomes 2024 In High Spirits; See Pics

South Korean girl group BLACKPINK member Jennie had a blast in New Year. Her Instagram is proof. The 27-year-old recently dropped a carousel of pictures on the social media platform, welcoming 2024 on a celebratory note. Jennie wrapped up 2023 with several new achievements. Her solo track You and Me was released this year, garnering much praise from BLINKs aka BLACKPINK fans. It was followed by the singer making her acting debut in HBO’s drama series The Idol and receiving the Honorary member of the Order of the British Empire. Now as 2023 drew its curtains close, Jennie ended the year on a much-deserved party spirit.

Expressing gratitude to her fans, Jennie wrote, “Thank you so much this year Blink. I’m going to move on even better next year. Let’s all be healthy and happy. Hello my 2024.” The first picture captured the singer in a blurry frame, seemingly clicked at a party. Giving us a glimpse of her OOTD, Jennie was seen decked up in a strappy silver mini dress that came with a backless design. She made a pout gesture and squinted her eyes close for the click. The next few snaps showed her posing against a well-lit and decorated Christmas tree. She posed goofily in some, layering her attire with a black trench coat and stockings.

Earlier, Jennie said her goodbye to 2023 in the most interesting way. She shared a string of random photos on Instagram with the caption, “BYE 2023” and added a black heart emoji. In the first snap, the K-pop idol was seen holding a cake in her hands with two upside-down wine glasses upon it. She sported a beaming smile on her face and wore a black cap with the words, “2024 is gonna be my year” emblazoned on it. The rest of the pics revealed a bunch of activities that Jennie enjoyed from decorating the Christmas tree, whiling away her time in the snow, an adorable photograph of her pet dog, and a bonfire night among other things.

On the professional front, Jennie made her debut solo entry as an artist on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The victory was for the song One of the Firls where Jennie collaborated with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp. Also, the singer has now formed her new personal agency — ODDATELIER and will be executing her solo ventures under this organisation.
