BTS' Jungkook Reveals How Suga And RM Reacted To His Latest Single 3D With Jack Harlow
With a mid-2000s hip-hop vibe, Jungkook and Jack Harlow's R&B track 3D is accentuated by catchy rhythms and eye-catching choreography.

BTS’ youngest member Jungkook has dropped 3D, his second spicy solo featuring Grammy-nominated rapper Jack Harlow, following his phenomenal debut with SEVEN. With a mid-2000s hip-hop vibe, the R&B track is accentuated by catchy rhythms with eye-catching dance choreography. The mood of 3D fits the right bill after SEVEN with Jungkook’s chorus, “I wanna see it in motion, in 3D." But working solo is quite different from the time he created music with his BTS hyungs.

During a recent interaction with Consequence Sound, Jungkook spoke at length about his individual preparation process while also revealing the reaction of some of his K-Pop team members upon listening to 3D. When asked if any of his bandmates heard his recently released collaboration with Jack Harlow, Jungkook confirmed he asked two members from BTS’ rap line Suga and RM about what they thought of the song. “They said I’m a true pop star," he reportedly blushed while sharing their reaction.

Before the track’s release, Jungkook was quite excited to gauge how ARMY would react to his second solo, stating that the preparation process was different as opposed to how it is while working with his globally famous boy band. “With BTS songs, it’s all the different colors of the individual members coming together to make up the final song — whereas, for me, it’s just me and my own unique color. I don’t think I could make something that has all the colors of BTS," he said.

3D dropped on Friday and the fan reaction seems quite positive. The music video resonates with any 2000s radio hit pop number bringing the BTS maknae into the limelight. His lyrics seem dedicated to reuniting with a lost lover for whom he doesn’t mind crossing dimensions. With a hint of old-school nostalgia, the K-Pop idol busts out phenomenal choreography with a crew of dances in baggy denim. The cherry on top is Jack Harlow’s feature who delivers two verses with saucy lyrics. Boasting about his charm with women, he is ready to fly them out from “Korea to Kentucky."

The release of 3D comes several months after Jungkook joined hands with rapper Latto for his debut solo. The catchy number catapulted him to become the first BTS member to reach number one on the Billboard Global Charts.
