Celebrities have elevated their fashion quotient with their sophisticated styling lately. Following the same, many people attempt to try and get inspired by influencers and actors in real life. Getting a chance to have the same outfit they have is a dream for many celeb fans. Actor-dancer Navya Nair had recently put on her wardrobe of once-worn sarees on sale. She took it up to her social media platform and announced through an Instagram page, Pre Loved By Navya Nair.
It included the premium sarees which she either has never worn after purchasing or didn’t get the chance to wear more than once. With the announcement, she became the first Malayalam actor to sell out her once-worn outfits to the general public.
As per Instagram posts, it included linen sarees priced at Rs 2,500; while the Kancheepuram sarees are priced between Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,600. Additionally, Banarasi sarees are priced at Rs 4,500. The prices can vary if the blouse is included in it.
Following the announcement of selling the sarees, Navya Nair was heavily criticised on different social media platforms. While many claimed her to be greedy to earn money out of her wardrobe, some supported her and said that many other actors from different industries have been doing this too.
You will be surprised to know that Navya Nair did not use the money she got from selling the exclusive sarees online; she donated and utilised the money in Gandhi Bhawan in Pathanapuram. She went to the charitable trust with the crucial things that are necessary for the ones residing there. She got new clothes, sweets, and other useful items. Apart from that, she also donated Rs 1 lakh to Gandhi Bhawan’s Special School.
Navya Nair was last seen in the 2023 released comedy-drama film Janaki Jaane. It was written and directed by Aneesh Upasana. In the film, Naya Nair held the title role alongside Saiju Kurup, Sharaf U Dheen, Anarkali Marikar, and George Kora among others.
